Installing it

You get a .zip. Inside it is a SocialReflow.jsx file.

  1. Put the .jsx anywhere you like.
  2. Open Illustrator and open the file you want to work on.
  3. File ▸ Scripts ▸ Other Script… and pick it.

That is the whole install. Nothing to approve, no warning.

The .zip also holds an optional .pkg installer, which adds SocialReflow to the Scripts menu permanently so you do not browse for it each time. It is not signed by Apple yet, so macOS shows an unidentified developer warning. Use it only if you are comfortable with that; the .jsx route above does everything the installer does.

Requires Adobe Illustrator on macOS. There is no Windows build.

Questions

Is this AI?
No. Nothing is invented and nothing is redrawn. Your own objects are copied onto new artboards and repositioned.
Does it change my original file?
No. It only ever adds artboards. It never edits, moves or deletes anything you already made.
What if the result is wrong?
You get artboards, not an export. Every layer, group and live text frame is editable, so fixing it is normal Illustrator work.
Does it run on Windows?
No. Illustrator on macOS only.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. Email us within 30 days and we will refund you, no questions.
Can I share it with a colleague?
It is a text file, so of course you can. We would rather you told them to buy it, but we are not going to stop you.
